International Shipping of Hatching Eggs
Can I? Will I? YES!!
If I can legally ship there, I am willing to.
In addition to the price of the eggs you would like, I charge the
actual postage plus $15 US Dollars to cover additional packaging due to
International shipping.
244 quail eggs is the largest box that I can ship as one package
safely; if interested in chicken eggs, I can safely package about 40-45
eggs. I will not ship less than 20 chicken eggs or 48 quail eggs
Internationally.
A package of up to about 30 chicken eggs will end up weighing about 7 lbs.
A package of up to 45 chicken eggs will end up weighing about 8 lbs.
A package of 48 quail eggs will end up weighing about 5 lbs.
A package of 96 quail eggs will end up weighing about 6 lbs.
A package of 144 quail eggs will end up weighing about 8 lbs.
A package of 244 quail eggs will end up weighing about 10 lbs.
I recommend the Global Express Guaranteed service for 2-3 day delivery,
as this is the ONLY way that the US Post Office will guarantee a time
in which the package will be delivered. I will ship Global Express
Mail, but GEM is not guaranteed and there is NO compensation if the
package is not delivered or is not delivered in a timely fashion. I
will ship GEM by customer request, but I strongly recommend the
Guaranteed service as you are much more likely to have your eggs arrive
safely.
Sorry, but I cannot be responsible for the delivery of eggs after I
ship them. International customers are responsible to know whether or
not eggs can be received and have any permits or pay any fees, tariffs,
etc. on arrival of the package.
For International shipping, we build an inner box inside the cardboard
shipping box out of styrofoam housing insulation that has aluminum on
both sides. This helps protect the eggs from x-rays and helps hold
proper temperatures even better than just bubble-wrap.
Chicken eggs are wrapped securely in two layers of bubble wrap and with
plenty of cushioning on all sides of the box and in between layers of
eggs, the chicken eggs are arranged pointy-end down and in tight enough
configuration such as that the eggs are unable to shift inside the box.
Quail eggs are placed in cartons with thin strips of absorbant paper
towel lining the cartons. The paper towel will help cushion the egg,
prevent it from vibrating, and absorb broken egg in the event of rough
handling and help protect intact eggs from contamination from broken
ones. Egg cartons have bubble-wrap inside if there is extra room so
that the eggs do not have room to move if the package is tilted. Each
carton is taped shut and wrapped neatly in bubble wrap and stacked
carefully with plenty of bubble wrap on all sides for a safe ride!
My box will arrive to you with proper labelling on all sides to
identify its contents as Hatching Eggs, Fragile, This Side Up, No
X-Ray, etc. In addition to the mailing label on top, I will hand write
your name, address and phone on one side of the box in case the top
label comes off or is ineligible.
International Customers please note: I must have a phone number for International shipments!
After shipping, I will email with a Tracking Number and date the
package was mailed. I am always available to my customers if there are
any questions or concerns. I always love to hear when my packages were
received, and the condition the eggs arrived in!! Even more fun is to
hear about your hatches.
I will accept payment in US Dollars via PayPal or will gladly accept a
Postal Money Order. Please contact me for PayPal email address or if
you need me to send a PayPal request for payment.
